I fooled with it yesterday. Was able to eliminate the down tube and mount the filter directly up in the motor bay (pointing down as would a normal setup. It drives okay and does not throw any codes so I think I'm good. Feel better not having it down 6" off the pavement! I like the Blackwing...

Divider installed... :) Received the carpeted divider and have had installed for a few weeks now. Good upgrade...cannot believe how much better the stereo (still stock) sounds! And as others commented..the AC seems to do better job as well. But I also had the windows tinted about the same...

Looks good to me... I've used the Duplicolor kit I have on about four cars now. Can see no brush marks once dried. I've had to buy new brushes each time rather than try to clean them up afterward. Be sure to use the caliper spray cleaner and mix / stir the paint well before starting.

Easy job... Sure it will look fine. Are you going with red? I need to get my camera out and get some more recent pics of my car. I've replaced the wheels, painted my calipers and am getting the windows tinted next Wed. Would like to drop it about an inch...but still investigating that...

You are right! When I first looked at it I thought those were just measure marks and the solid bar toward the bottom the rpm. On a different note...that sure looks like a nice drive!!

sounds good (no pun intended) Thanks for the report. Looks like I definitely need to add to my list. Interior noise not so bad since I got the Corsa Pace system on in place of the SLP but it just makes sense that seperating the trunk area would have to make things better.
