Thanks for the response dlt4. Glad to hear mine is in the normal temp range on both counts. At some pointm I will probably change the thermostat & adjust the PCM so the fans kick in a littler earlier. Travis

I recently purchased a 1996 LT4 with 46,000 miles that is bone stock. In regards to the coolant tempature I have 2 questions. 1. At constant speed on the highway mine stays right at 205 degrees. Is that normal? 2. Under normal circumstances, how hot should the tempature get before the fans...

Just out of curiosity, where did you have your SNAT 435 dyno'd? About 1.5 years ago I had my ZR-1 Dyno'd at a place in North Richland Hills & the tech shut it off at 6k rpms.
