Hello All,
i am thrilled to be a member of the Corvette Action Club! I consider my ownership as one of my lifetime achievements!
i took delivery of my red on red '94, Sept.23rd, what an amazing new experience driving it home, intoxicating and addictive. it has 86k on the odo, really as close to new inside and out. minor details to sort through, otherwise the rest seems tip top. I've driven her about 1500 miles since purchase
I made new Delrin rollers for the clacking headlights, replaced the vinyl seat covers with beautiful new Al Knoch leather covers/foam and replaced the broken cup holder/shift console with a new one and other minor repairs. The car's been well taken care of, i'm the 9th owner, i have the last 8 years receipts from the 7th owner who confirmed it's been well taken care of, so i feel fortunate. Helluvalot of car for $10k!
These pics were taken Dec.7, in which Her Elegance took me for a 191 mile drive. I have owned the car 83 days now. She is intoxicating to simply sit in, not to mention an addictive driving experience. I would have never imagined enjoying driving in town under the speed limit could be such a pleasure. The only town driving i will do is leaving town for trips. I am looking forward to 2025! I am head over heels in love with this car. I haven't been a car guy, but i AM a Corvette owner!
I had no idea i could ever feel this way about a car, but then this is not just any car. The day was 61 degrees, sunny and no wind. There was a 12 mile section of pavement that was as smooth as a granite countertop. I was literally the only motorist on the road. I will leave the rest to your imagination.
i am looking forward to perhaps meeting some of you sometime if/when there's a Corvette activity in or near my area!
