Simple answer is No. Most of the critical wear items I suggested are internal and practicality of addressing them while motor in car ranges from very, very difficult to impossible. Cylinder deglaze, piston rings, crank polish, crank bearings are internal. Thorough & internal cleaning block...

Starter off a late model (up thru about 1999) pickup/van with iron heads works real well ... they're very small, light & last a LONG time ... they also have permanent magnets so they do not even have a field coil to fail/get hot/fail.

Most of the aftermarket chromed pulleys are very poor quality; very thin & weak asian stampings of poor grade steel ... wobble/warp/crack/ break. Best to have good OE stampings chromed. I like an Al wp ... but many of those are truly rated for racing rpms ... and many of those don't flow so...
