he'll split his diff at the pinion area and scatter it all over the floor before the halfshafts or even the u joints (if they're spicers, not the weak ones w/ the zerk) ... these aluminium cases don't handle slicks and/or dropping the clutch very well.
I'd have to have a thread cut into them, 7500 km...they'd last more than 1 year for sure then. They're probably spendy right? I could use a set for hot summer days and to make the car look good and some ugly BFGs for the rest of the driving...hmmmm
just looked, there's no thread pattern on those whatsoever so it's a no go for the street, I'll slap a set of slicks on my 2nd set of rims but I need a street tire to be able to drive this thing on the street.
Oh..is that a street legal tire? I assume it is since it's DOT approved.... if it has anything resembling a groove pattern it'll be gine. I would rather run hoosiers all round than those BFGs..and 45 aspect ratio, awesome :) 275 won't be a problem, I'll jsut have to whip a 10" rim together...
There's next to nothing available in 16 inch that has a nice aspect ratio, I hate tall sidewalls on the front... which oens are available? I have looked everywhere and most only have wimpy 255 meats or even smaller..I need 295 for the front (I have hoosiers for the rear, about 420/45/16...
The one in the frame (the droop stop??) Sicne you already have them out, put a little grease or oil on the end that plugs into the little hole in the frame and while twisting it push it in. They can be installed without removing anything but depending on the ride height it could be tricky to...
Just insert a small stick or length of steel wire in the opening just above the hinge point (from the side) to push the accident lock ing tab back, that's what keeps your seat from folding in an accident and it's locked up on yours.
what kind are you looking for? Compare aCI flares to ecklers/vanacor and others. You'll see there are 2 types and basically 3 versions, the aci flares no mudflap, just a flare edge, the flare edges mudflap style and the mudflap styles as almost complete quarter panels. I still have a lot of work...
Theres a difference between ACI and the other flares, there's the mudlfap design and the non mudflaps. I made my own flares because nothing on the market will fit w/ 16.50 wide tires.
Frankly, almost all flat tapped hydraulics available are not as good as the ones GM used to use, they had the ones w/ the hardened insert at the foot...those lifters are much better than what's on the market today. I saved all my old sets of these and they can be carefully checked, cleaned and...
Moroso has water pump spacers however using those will lead to pulley alignment problems. How much clearance do you need, you could clearance the water pump if it's just a little clearance you need
