I like the idea of that approach. I'd call Vintage Air again and talk to them about that. When I called them last year about installing AC in a 1978, the main difference and problem they cited was the cabling and the controls in the center console. I think everything under the hood would match...
Excellent Idea!
Although hard to do, try not to get too angry with the new people that bought Promaxx. They were not in control back then.
You gave the old owners a call 2 1/2 years ago, then want some help now from the new owners 2 1/2 years later. Warranty is more time based rather than...
Don't forget to save the 4.11's as a complete unit still in the carrier. Saving Just the ring and pinion would not be the same.
I know it will be the more expensive route.

If I were interested in buying your car and it came with the COMPLETE original 4.11 differential (case and gears still together) set aside while using 3.36 gears in another case, I would not devalue the car whatsoever.
I think anybody would understand the need for you to install a more...
The pump will go on to prime the system with fuel for just a few seconds so it does not flood out. It will then shut off until started.
You should invest in a 1995 GM Factory Service Manual (FSM). They are a bit pricey, but well worth it. A new one is about $200, but check eBay. They have used...
I'd like to know where those title "wash" companies are and send them to the authorities. That's unlawful and they should be called out on it. There are some dirty titles and cheating sellers. You win!
Carfax has to help along with personal inspections and such, the key is to get as much...
Yeah, your right. I would think most of the people doing that paperwork have nothing in it for them. Insurance Co's, Motor Vehicle Registration, etc. I can see how somebody that does not have ins and wants to get away with something would not report it. But at least there is a fighting chance if...
Now that's experience talking!
I don't understand how the sellers of these cars can get the prices they are asking.
The temptation from inexperienced buyers must be too strong for them to look the other way. Saving just a couple thousand dollars doesn't cut it!

I guess you're looking for an opinion, but in the end it's YOUR money.
AND somebody telling you to offer them 27K range from afar? It think the car is worth alot less? That's only $500 less than KBB's RETAIL value. Remember that those value programs like KBB and NADA are only guides.
You've...
Then put 1 1/2 gallons in it or whatever you want, you know what I mean. When you start the car, the water pump impeller will begin moving because of the fan belt and mix it in!
If the petcock is good, great.
Just giving suggestions. :eyerole
Chuck M
Why don't you put a gallon of pure antifreeze in it (it will take at least all of that...start the car for a bit to mix. Then measure the antifreeze adding more until you get the right 50/50.
Now's your chance to also change the radiator petcock. It's inexpensive and a wise "while your there"...
I wrangled with that choice myself about 7 years ago.
I went with a 4 post lift.
I got the wider one so the mirrors clear easily. Also got the 60" ramps so I wouldn't have to worry about scraping. The 7,000 lb model cost a bit more, but just in case I use it for 4X4 trucks and such (sure...
