I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to adjust the pop up hatch where the convertible top folds back. Mine sticks up a little too much in the back. The is no adjustment to lower the height, if i wanted to raise it I could shim it where it connects to the hinges. I know that it should...

    1975 Registry?

Does anyone know of a registery for 75's. I saw a great one for 70's that had photo details for all sorts of projects. This could be a great place to get detailed information about specific problems. Not to say that CAC is not the best but a site specific to 75's could be a gold mine. Andy

    sandblasting engine

Today I purchased a 20 lb. sandblasting machine that works off of my shop compressor. I got it at Harbor Freight for $45 and would only be for personal use and probably not hold up under comercial use. I was just wondering if anyone has used one to sandblast an engine while it was still in the...

    Belt sizes

You should be able to go to your local parts house and get the belt you need. I was really suprised at the items I have been able to buy over the counter with "in stock" merchandise. I just purchased a new a/c belt for my 75 and the guy walked in the back and carried the new one out. My advise...

    looking for a/c link

Several months ago I saw a link on a posting that connected to a supplier that had an a/c upgrade for C3's. This upgrade converted the old bulky compressor with a modern more effencent type. The kit came with everything needed and was around $1200 for everything! I thought that I bookmarked...

if it is an auto trans., do you have the gear shift in neutral? The console will not come off if it is up in park. You have to turn the key and the buzzing (key alarm) can drive you nuts. Andy ps; you also have to loosen the e-brake console and slide it back a little.

Ok, I need some information. I finally got the hardtop from the guy I bought the car from for my 75 . Putting the top on for the first time went fairly easy (since I had no instructions). My problem came when I tried to put in the headliner. It was in very good condition with very minor...

    rearend "clunking"

Roy, I thought about the Slick 50 issue after I put it in. I don't know what I was thinking when I put it in. I am going to suck it all out and start all over with the GM additive and GM gear oil. If this doesn't fix the problem I will start trouble shooting the rearend. Thanks for all the...
