I have heard of guys using epoxy to put heavy duty plastic blocks on the underside of the rear storage space and then mounting to that plastic, so it remains up and out of the way.
I was looking at http://www.corvetteforum.com/ and noticed on their picture montage for C3's that one of the C3s has a chrome grill over the side vent. Anyone know who makes this product? I have looked through several vendor catalogs and been unable to find it.
Any help would be appreciated...
Stupid little part
I need the little black (about 4 inch ) hose that runs from the blower motor to ...um not sure what the part is. Can't find them at any of the remanufacture places.
I was looking for a pan to replace my old and busted one. Any suggestions? I have seen a few postings on the Mildons, but no part numbers are listed. What about the Aluminum ones from Summit?

Steering Components: To Rebuild or Buy Rebuilt?
I am leaking either from the master or slave steering cylinder and really it is time to replace all the hoses and master and slave anyways.
So should I rebuild the cylinders or buy rebuilt ones?
Any special tools needed for the rebuild?

I guess the question is have I ruined anything by putting ATF in there? Like I said it started leaking like crazy right after I filled it with ATF. But I am also driving it a lot more than I used to so it could just be worn out.
Well let's just for instance that I might have screwed up and put ATF in. Will that ruin the seals or what? Once I filled up with ATF it started leaking like crazy, but that could coincide with it just happening to be ready to fail.
I was wondering what fluid folks are using for Power Steering. I have heard both ATF and PS. If one or the other could someone tell me what type (like ATF Dextron III) they are using? Also is it possible to ruin the pump or cylinder with the wrong type?
thanks

Ya I was wondering about that. Seems that the earlier years are really starting to pick up in value. Wasn't sure what the drive was behind that. Any ideas?

My 76 is all but finished up and thus I am looking for another car to start working on. Specifically a 68-72 Convertible. Where have you all done your hunting? I bought my 76 locally, but have yet to find anything remotely reasonable when you get earlier than 1974. Any suggestions/web sites...
Right away I noticed that the plastic guides didn't allow the pegs to slip all the way down in to the peg holes and so the top of the window couldn't clear the ridge to sit properly. I shaved the plastic guides down and the window seems to fit ok now, but leaks like crazy in the corners.
Anyone done this conversion and had leaking in the bottom corners? It all seams to fit well except that the corners don't seem to press tightly against the bottom corners and this allows water in. Any suggestions?

Well the new brackets came and they fit perfectly, but the part on the bracket says 78-82 Vettes. Go figure. Anyways looks like I don't have 76 floor pans which I guess is good to know.
