the angle does exagerate the dish on the front. It is a little larger because the back rim has a larger back space to tuck the 8" rims under the stock fenders. As with everyone that will attempt to install larger than 7" rims on the rear of their mid-years and use the stock fenders.thanks for...
I had the same problem with one of my 17x8 Billet Aluminum Rally rims. They didnt give me too much crap when I told them the tire shop said the wheel was out of round. The problem was, it was the last wheel left to put on and we had to put the car all back together with the stock wheels and wait...
thats what I was talking about. Put some Budniks on there and make it yours. I think that all of the money we are putting in these cars and the money a few of you are with the updated suspension, drivetrain and the like. That money for the rims is just another thing. I am not saying anything is...
Thats a good name, what about "Webster" has his name in it and sounds kind of different and may invoke conversation as to why the cars name is Webster.? Then you can tell the wonderful story. just a thought. I have a few names for my 67. Mistress, which is what my wife named it and Beast which...
I thought it was something like that. Of all the builds I see, I rarely see one with other wheels and tire combos. They may use the Z06 style but I would like to see a Resto-Mod with a different set of wheels that look more period correct. 17's 18's or 19's that have a hot rod look to it. I am...
I was wondering; why does every build that I see that uses c4/c5 suspension components use the c5 rims? Is this the only rims that will fit? Not a big deal I was just curious. I even saw a really nice C2 in the June or July issue of Corvette Fever and they had the same rims. It was silver...
Thats true. I do believe the centers are interchangeable from the 67 to the 68 and above. I dont care for the C3 style on the C2. I like the C2 style on the C3 though. just my opinion
Thanks John,
I will look around on e-bay. Autotrader? Is this the on-line version or your local one...or is it a National Autotrade? Is it under any particular heading or description?

I am curious to know about the fuel line thing as well. I always thought...at least in the case of my 67...that the fuel line was the same diameter 3/8" but where it made the turn from the frame to the fuel pump it was more of a 90 degree angle instead of the less severe turn with the small...
Paul67,
what about the back of the seats, the tracking etc... I would like to change out the backs and the chrome trim piece on mine. Are these things I should order and have a shop in town do. Or do I send the chrome trim away to get re-chromed? Will the new/replacement backs be the same...
Hey guys,
what kind of pricing are we talking with a 20' enclosed trailer? I have been thinking about this also. There are not too many shows and events in Richmond VA and I dont think I want to drive the 67 longer than a few hours at a time. Gas and the ringing in my ears.
