Ready for a quieter set of side exhausts for my 427-400

Jim, I just bought new exhaust when I re-did the 67. I had the stock...semi worn out sides. When I installed the new motor the pressure really blew the exhaust out and I had to replace it. I talked to Allen's, Sweet Thunder and Stainless works. I decided to go with Stainless...

    Ls7 engine

John, If you have the cash...do it. You will be the first and there wont be any regrets. You can only be first once installing the LS7 in a mid year. There will be articles written about your conversion and you will have instant gratification...maybe...hopefully. So after you figure out what...

Vette Brakes & Van Steel are probably the 2 best places. I worked with Dan @ Van Steel he was a nice guy. Tim :beer

    C2- wing or vent windows?

I sent my vent windows to Charlie Santoreli...something like that...in NJ. He has a little business that is seatbelt sity, chrome sity and something else. He replaced the vent window regulators, the rubber, re-chromed and everything. They look brand new. 1-908-719-2354 Tim

    Origin of Term "Midyear"?

Thats the way I always thought. It makes perfect sense. Non of the other stuff makes sense to me. Sounds like a lot of guessing. Tim

A ten year old and a Red Corvette

I think I was around 10 or so. I saw a red Mid Year Vette going down the road and I knew one day I would have one. So on and off for the next 19 years I researched everything I could about Vettes and I was dead set on a 67 Roadster. I looked at all of the Vette Trader, local paper, trading posts...

Ground clearance after fiberglass rear spring install

Thanks 67HEAVEN--I dont have a stance issue either I was referring to Jims issue. I had a slight one at first but not a biggie. My problem is my car is still in the paint shop after 2 months just for some minor touchups and dial in. I have only driven the car about 100 miles in the past 18-24...

Ground clearance after fiberglass rear spring install

When he actually painted it about a year ago, he kept it for about 10-months...frame on. I sent it off to do the susspension and put the new motor in and it got a chip on it. I also had a few little alignment issues with the doors so he is going to keep it for a while. so in the past 2 years...

Ground clearance after fiberglass rear spring install

I have replaced just about everything underneath too. Unfortunatley I didnt paint and clean everything as nice as you. I have seen paint advertised in Eastwoods that looks like a single process paint. It has the rust protection, primer and black paint all in one. Have you used any of this...

    67Heaven clone?

I have also seen that car at least twice. It is nice but 67 Heaven has the attitude and the nicer steering wheel. I think he could sell it if he removed the NOS and the steering wheel. It probably would have sold the first couple of times. Tim

Ground clearance after fiberglass rear spring install

Dave, your car keeps getting better looking every time I see it. How did you get that frame and undercarriage looking so nice without taking the body off? Tim

Ground clearance after fiberglass rear spring install

I had the same problem with mine. I had longer bolts and bounced and drove the car around to help it settle down. Everything settled in nicely and I dont have any issues now. You may have an exagerated ride height because of the other issue too. Tim
