Gm parts direct.com has a heater core part number 52484057. Paragon, C Central, LI Corvette also have a replacement. Question is;
Does the replacement from GM have better materials or is manufactured in a better way that would warrant a purchase, Or all all heater cores alike and built in...
Thanks for the pics. I just switched from ND w16s-u to the AC45's. When I pulled out the ND's they were all fouled and oil soaked also. Non TI.
Does anyone know what heat range the ND w16s-u was? I never heard of this plug.
OK sound good. I think I will have these parts blasted with someone who has the industrial size bead blaster and continue the hunt for a small parts bead blaster, since I am running 110v.

Ok Thanks I wasnt sure of it. Do you know if the GM repro kicks in at 180 degrees F? I read that some of the newer repro fan clutches don't go to full resistance until 220 degrees, by that time the car is running hot.
Not quite complete on the molding removal. 15 pound fishing line was a little weak and kept breaking, I used the goo gone, 3m adhesive remover and heat gun, but got some more work to do.
I used the procedure below;
Check under the wheel wells to see if there are any through the body clips...
Now the next question I need to buff out the discoloration and minor scratches. Can you recommend a buffer unit or mfg and buffing compound name or type.
