85 vette battery dead after 5-6days....voltage loss at separated neg terminal at 3.84,,,,removing cts/clk fuse stops it.....check all 12 circuits per the fsm....no luck...bose relay is suspected but bose tech says if I disconnect rear two speakers, voltage loss should be reduced..no luck...now...

check out the fpr valve.....not fun to change.... also the IAc valve for rough running or a vac leak... should have changed the fuel relay with the fuel pump...they-re not expensive and easy to change...:D

had this problem on my 85..bought a fuel guage to make sure I had fuel pressure....changed the fuel pump and the fuel relay..it was cheap..cured the problem immediately....mid america has a stainless fuel pump and sensor set up for 130 bcks....sounds like that's what you need...after pulling...

changed the fuel pump couple of weeks ago.....all worked good for awhile....now reads full all the time...have taked it back out twice to look for anything wrong...not much to it.....anything I should look for???...all connections look good....is a new sending unit the answer???

aux fan results trouble shooting, jumping a and b on the aldl only turned the main fan on.... i installed a two position fan switch in the dash and doing this required me to unplug both relays....after splicing and reconnecting the relays, both fans came on.....or 1 depending on positon of the...

ok....never seen the aux fan on....bought a switch kit to turn one or both on...just grounds the green/white wire out of each relay...doesn't really work at all except now the aux fan does turn on sinc with the main fan...no matter what position the switch is in...are the relays bad??? I know...

installed a new fuel pump and cleaned the maf....car starts in an instant and no codes......after 100,000 figured it could us a new one. also cleaned the throttle body thoroughly....it was very bad...also found a small vac leak removing the vac line from the throttle body...good advice for any...

fuel pressure holds for 15-20 minutes....service manual is being shipped. with117,ooo miles, just thinking I could use a new set of injectors. going to run a test this weekend to see if I can eliminate fpr or fuel pump leakage... also going to use the paper clip to see what code it throws at...
