    $164 screw.

I bought Firestone Wide Ovals over a year ago & am happy with them. Of course, anything would have been a great improvement over the original GSC'S (1995). There was a fella named Luke that worked at Tirerack.com. He seemed to be very know knowledgale about tires. He convinced me that the...

    $164 screw.

They are called run-flats. Apparently they have super reinforced side walls that prevents the tire fron deflating immediately & allowing enough time to get to a service station. One caveat. You will have to have some type of tire pressure warning system as it would be difficult to tell if you...

    $164 screw.

I've had 2 punctures (screw & nail) & the system alerted me before I got into trouble. Glad nobody got hurt.

I can't recall if you have the LTPWS or not. If you do...did it warn you of a low tire?

    Battery blew up??

It seems when batteries get low it causes relays to do funny things. That's not exactly a great technical explanation, but mine did that when the battery was on it's last legs.

    Question: service LTPWS

Removal of LTPWS Bulb by Ed Q: I've removed my wheel sensors. How do I disable the LTPWS warning light? A: Easiest method is to just remove the bulb. First, lift the compartment lid and lift the front "tabs" of felt to get access to the shifter plate bolts (7mm). Under the ashtray is...

Question: Another PKE Question....bear with me...

additional infoI have the 95 FSM & can scan the PKE info if you like. My e-mail is lsylvestri@sbcglobal.net. On the FOB you just bought there is a small ball in the fob that rolls around when the fob is moved. It's a motion sensor. I would shake the new fob to determine if the little pellet is...

    Question: service LTPWS

I believe that your No. 1 refers to the Selective Ride Control & not the LTPWS. I have a 95 & was wondering did they change the system for 96?
