Ses bulb check is OK. Ran diagnostics using on board computer. No codes.

Nothing has been changed regarding the fans, all original. The fans start a couple of minutes after the engine is started. Guess I'll start with the relays & go from there. Everything else appears to be normal. This started a few days ago????? Will check the a/c.

There is a small louvered piece in the middle of the vent. You can pry it out with a small screw driver inserted in the bottom of the louver. When removed there are a couple of screws holding the vent in.
I am doing this from memory, no FSM handy, but the plastic is old & brittle, use caution...

Drop her a line & she will send you the particulars on repairs, etc. Prices seem reasonable & it sure beats buying new fob's.
Sounds like you may be having a problem with the contacts. You may want to check them for corrosion. Never heard of FOB'S dying, mine are 19 years old.
There is a small ball bearing in the FOB that activates when you leave the keys in the ignition & lock the doors. Shake the car & the FOB wakes...
I would think the installer did something as it was working ok before the install.
As for the light coming on when the ignition is turned , that signifies the system is active. Try holding down the door button & see if the door locks cycle?

There are adjustments that can be made to the window. I can scan the info from the 95 FSM if you like. Let me know via pm.
IIRC you have to be very careful drilling as you can put a hole where it is not needed & will cause water to enter the interior. RESEARCH before you drill.:ugh
Have you tried the diagnostic mode for the PKE? If not....
For those with a 16 pin DLC the pins to ground are 8 to 5.
