Mine has been to Maine, North Carolina, Tennesee, West Virginia, New York, Maryland, and Pennsylvania at hotels in all of them and never a problem. Not to say there couldn't be but just sayin.......;) Always park close to the building entrance and under a light if that makes any difference.

the paint really doesn't air cure anymore it's baked, all of the various parts and pieces on a corvette are painted, stocked, then assembled onto the vehicle. I have mixed feelings on a bra, chose not to run one on my 08, been on two long trips and only very minor marks on the paint.

Throttleup congrats! When the JSB came out in 2008 it was a had to have it moment for me ....if GM is putting it away for awile I'm not surprised. Maybe something else as awesome will replace it. Gonna have to slip by that side of town and see what I can find out.

The Z51 rotors are cross drilled and the hub section is painted gray from the factory. Earlier C5 rotors were unpainted, I've painted mine on a '99C5 and an 02C5, the gray looks nice with the chrome, my 99 I painted bright silver, the 02 flat black. I think the bright silver was my favorite.

Several years ago I purchased an 02 with a tinted rear window so dark that I had difficulty seeing adequately when using the mirror. It peeled fairly easily and the defroster grid continued to work fine. Hopefully yours will as well. :)
