    Just make sure that the two separate wires aren't plugged on backwards.

    Yes, but I would remove it first and turn it by hand to see if it moves freely. Does the blower motor have 2 wires or one wire going directly in to it?

    FYI, do NOT install a larger fuse than recommended by the vehicle.

    Unplug the blower motor connections and see if the short disappears.

    Ok, I wasn't what sure what year GM switched to grounding the field circuit of the motor windings through the switches. Good info.

    Diagnosis is in order first. Find out what you are missing at the motor, battery positive or battery negative. I believe your master switch grounds one side of the circuit in the neutral position, check a wiring diagram to be sure.

    Hopefully that hardtop is one strong unit with matching exterior covering, it is going to get very hot, even with the vents.

    No, the left sensor is in the left side exhaust and the right side is in the right side exhaust. However, the wire harness connectors cross over the pipes and are on the opposite sides, NOT the sensors.

    Yes some OEM harmonic balancers have a very slight wobble at hot idle.

    Want some better advice? Don't use an icon or "heart" to buy parts. Do some research with your VIN number and get the correct part. Your local dealership can help by giving you the correct part number and then search for availability and prices, or buy direct from the dealer.

    Question: Tires

    Technically no. Any tire 7-10 years old should not be driven regularly. That is why you should check the born on date on any new tire you purchase. I would not drive on 16-17 year old tires.
