Stan,
I was speaking with Shafi Keisler last week and he happened to mention that he had a WhirlyJig rotisserie for sale. If you are interested he can be reached at Keisler Engineering 865-609-8187.

Lance & Larry,
Thanks for the kind words. It's not difficult though to speak about something we all enjoy and we enjoyed doing it. We're already looking forward to this year's event and speaking with all the nice folks there - yourselves included, of course........:D
Jack,
Well, I can...
Oh, you mean that suave, eloquent fellow next to the redhead - naw, didn't see him..............:eyerole :L
We had no idea whether or not they would use any of the interview but they used more of it than we had expected. We did see a few cars we recognized as well. It was well done but tough...
I remember looking for the same thing for our 66 Coupe and I believe the 5/8" width is what I recall looking for. I did find a GoodYear radial with that size white wall but I don't recall the model name. You might want to check them.

Brian,
One person's sickness is another's cure I guess........:D Let's hope it's the latter as there are many of us with the same affliction.......and it's sure a help to have a wife who supports our interests.
The Corvette Center does nice work and they have done the body and paint work on...
"I guess what I'm really trying to formulate is a build plan......"
Stan,
You might find some of the information in the Project Planning article, which appeared in the December, 2004 issue of Corvette Fever, of help. There is also a two page listing of component sources for these projects...
Collin,
Since your order is in now for the truck it's not too soon to plan for all the mods. :L I have a nice list of things you can do..................:Steer

Well Ken, being an old timer, I can attest to using cornstarch for polishing and have tried it - but only once as that was enough. :L What a mess! It didn't seem to work that well and I spent more time getting all the excess cornstarch out of all the cracks and crevices. Maybe there's something...
Would you happen to be the fellow I sent the 5-speed shift pattern plate to in Texas? Nice job on the engine installation. Please post some pictures of the finished car when you have them.

John,
Yes, the coupe doesn't present the interference with the soft top but I also wanted to keep the original fender lines so that worked out fine in our case. The inner fender wells were moved in 1-1/2 to 2" inches on each side so it likely would be enough to cause the problem with the...
"I am glad that Rich Lagasse is a couple of months ahead of me on his SRIII midyear, so I can learn all the problem issues from him without having to make the same mistakes!"
John, now what mistakes would those be?? :L No room for those......:eyerole ;)
Rich
"Sooooooooooooooo.....You did follow the instructions and mount the pump vertical. Now Rich chewed me out and told me I should not follow the instructions and just go ahead and mount it side ways. :L He said his pump has been Cock Eyed for 5 years now and hasn't missed a pump..."
Mark,
See...
Well, I will have to admit that it doesn't look that clean all the time! :D My wife helps a lot in that department. ;) All the project parts stored in the barn is another story though...........
Rich Lagasse
Collin,
I know how disappointed you must feel at this point. But, you are going about it the right way and it should work out best in the long run.
Your choice of the 2500 HD with the Duramax/Allison is a good one. It makes a great tow vehicle. :Steer
Rich
Tom,
You're into something that few would undertake and hats off to you for tackling a job like this. By the time you are finished it should be strong without the penalty of too much additional weight. I know we all enjoy seeing something like this underway. Best of luck with the remainder of...
