Do chicks dig the new renegade intake manifold? I know my wife can't wait for me to get it so I will not be on these forums so much. But she doesn't know that I have to post my SOTP dyno numbers. It is going to take a while to work the car over to get some raw data.
Any ladies buy the renegade?
DCS beat you to it, Super Chevy is doing a write up on this new intake as we speak or type what ever you want to call it. Sorry Hib, you snooze you lose. You don't get a renegade, no don't get to write an article and you don't get paid.:boogie
Now what do you have to contribute to this...
I have not got my renegade yet. How much do you want to spend on a brand new x-ram? It has never been installed. It was a change of plans when I heard about the renegade. It is the last version of the x-ram, it has all the bugs worked out from the previous x-rams.
Give me a number in...
You would know, you are near the top of the list to recieve your renegade, us low lifes at the bottem of the list just get to hear about how well it works.
Almost 200 posts, I don't like to brag but you know.
Where did you race crossfires? Did you win a race with a crossfire? Was it a stock crossfire? Or did you port it? To bad you didn't have a renegade back then, I bet you would have won a few more races with it.
Which roller rockers did you get? Are you using the stock valve covers? I am ordering a set this summer, I just don't want to order the wrong ones, I want them to fit under the stock valve covers.
I was reading some posts on this renegade on another forum, and it looks like alot of people are excited about it. Even an article in super chevy is going to happen.:thumb
All we need now is our manifolds, I have my rear tb ready to be adjusted and I bought the tool to adjust it and I have that cool little fuel pressure gauge and I have the TB bored out to 2 inches from DCS but I am still waiting for the renegade, I hope it gets here soon.:ohnoes
Pouring them one at a time, I guess they are using one mold that is the best mold out of the three I have seen them using. Sounds like they will only pour about 2 a week??? Where was I on that list again. I hope I am next to get mine:ohnoes. This old crossfire is just not fast enough for me...
I am just going to G-tech it. A little before and after and a few comments on how it feels. I would think once you are going about 40 mph and hit it, it should pull pretty good.
I would sure like to here what is going on. I bet our next update will be the friday after Easter.
What would be your best 1/4 mile guess with a renegade on a stock crossfire engine? If the 84 crossfire has a baseline of 15.3 in the 1/4 mile? 14.6 maybe?;shrug
I guess if the low end torque is not enough with the stock gears, I will have to see what others are running and see if 3.54 or 3.73 will be the best for a basically stock crossfire.
