Actually Patrick, I believe you can get an 06 brochure right from the museum. If not, I dealt with a vendor at the Atlantic City car show a couple years ago that had brochures for everything automotive. Shame of it is, I don't recall his name.

I don't think your going to start any trouble, bwing. Your just stating your opinion, IMHO. As for the headlight covers, theres alot of advances in technology since 1992. So maybe these plastic lenses won't yellow. Only time will tell, I guess. I'll let you know in 14 years how mine look!!! :L

You might try some Dawn dishwashing detergent. I know it'll take the wax off of the body.

I agree 100% !! I did my 07 Monty Red on the Boardwalk, in direct sunlight in Ocean City NJ with Adams detail spray. Easy on, easy off. In all it took 20 minutes to do the whole car. IMHO, the stuff is great.

DO IT!!! I was a huge Meguirs fan, and then I tried Adams products. After trying Adams, everything else went in the trash!! :D

IMHO the salesman was feeding you a line. If you think about it, these cars sat for some time before we got them, unless you ordered your car. They sat in a holding yard at the factory, then at another yard at a distribution point, then they were trucked to the dealer where they sat some more...

I'd do like you said, pull up a corner carefully, the I would soak the decal with soap and water while using the hair dryer to loosen up the adhesive. When I was a graphics technician way back when, this is how we removed vinyl forn plexiglas and worked fairly well. Good luck and just watch...

Welcome 99 C5 and congrats on the new ride!!! What I would do is this. Wash the car with Dawn dish detergent. This'll strip off whatever wax is already on the car. Then I would use the kit you recieved. Just my 2 pennies.
