    ZDDP Additives for older vettes

One more question about ZDDP. Hi HH, I have used Valvoline Conventional Oil 10W30, are you saying VR-1 10W30 should be what I use from here on? I only recently heard about the lack of ZDDP, thanks, PG.

    No Brake Pedal

I'm having a hard time believing that bleeding the other two bleeders on the rears will make that much difference. Yes it will make a difference, you have to bleed both the inner and outers. PG.

    Exhaust tips

Restricted exhaust flow! I'm pretty sure that where the exhaust pipes connect to the cast iron manifold it's only 2 inches there too. I've heard that chambered exhaust is more restrictive than regular mufflers, is that true? PG.

    Question: 1973 Steering Problem

More things to check. In your first post you said you heard a whining, you did top it up with power steering fluid right? Not Transmission fluid. wishuwerehere82 gave you a good way to bleed the system, have you tried that or any that Jim Shea suggested? Since everything worked OK before the...

    Question: 1973 Steering Problem

Steering Wheel Play Hi CAPNZ, since the excessive play just started you might want to bleed the system again and see if that helps. The power sreering control valve will have a little play in it. With the car on jack stands have a helper turn the steering wheel. The ball stud will move about...

    Help! Power window motor replacement

Window regulator spring tension. Look at the gear side, there should be a hole in it. Than look at the other side of the regulator, you'll find another 1/4 inch hole, line those two holes up and insert a bolt, put the motor on, and remove the bolt and you'll have the proper pre-load. PG.
