    Question: Anti-sway bar end links

Unless you're a hard core autocrosser or track racer, the stock end links will last longer than you or the car. :thumb

Question: Has anyone else seen it?

I've also seen several "1967" bodied C5's in some mags, both verts and coupes. Very cool looking..IMO. I never have liked the "53" C5 conversions, but the "62"s were alittle better.

    Understanding Oil Pressure

You got it, bro! I try to let my LS1 oil warm up to about 100deg/oil before backing out of the garage, especially if I haven't driven it for a week or so........which seldom ever happens though. Mine sets between 37 and 40 psi all day long when I'm on long road trips at 75mph, with the oil...

    Question: Corvette tax . . . .

Throw away their catalog.....it's the worst in the industry, regardless of their pricing. They jumble all the different year cars together, instead of separating items. I want to see only the C5 stuff without pawing thru every page of products to see if there are any C5 items or new items there...

    Summer winding down

I moved here to Missouri two years ago from San Diego, but I still drive my coupe every week, in the winter too when the roads are dry. No use leaving it in the garage and have the battery run down, eh? :L Have fun.:thumb

    F45 Suspension

You may be hearing a dry sway bar bushing. Be sure it's a shock before you blow your cash on new ones.

Paint touch up - would you? Paint experts, can you help with answer

I wasn't suggesting you repaint the whole car, but just learn how to do the little touch up jobs on the little stuff. My '98 coupe is torch red, so I always make sure I have a red Sharpie in my console in case I need a quick "fix" at a show or cruise in. But, I fill in chips and scratches with a...

Paint touch up - would you? Paint experts, can you help with answer

It's just a car with paint. Buy a kit and do it yourself. It's easy and satisfying to things for yourself. Of course, if your paint has been sand blasted from road debris, then talking to a paint shop would be in order.

antifreeze flush or change how to on 02

I, too, have heard and read never to use chemical flushes in our alum. alloy motors. So I don't! :thumb

    Hypertech A4 Shift Points?

Nope....with my 3.15 A4, I only changed the shift firmness to the 75% level if I remember correctly, and the fans to come on earlier at 209deg. I'm not a racer so that other stuff is of no interest to me.

    C5 Wagon!

I'm a wagon guy and like it too. There have been quite afew C3 wagon versions actually made. Google to find them if anyone is interested. Have a good Mem.Day weekend! Remember those who have served our country! :thumb

Question: More Questions from the noobie

The stock WW center caps just pop off with a slight prying. I use a flat bladed screw driver under the end of one of fake lug nuts. It's a no-brainer....you'll see! I pulled a loose bulb out of the corner parking lens housing using a flexible magnetic tool, from the bottom of course...

Question: What am I in store for, vette noob here

There are no exhaust manifold shields on a '98. They have double walled stainless steel manifolds. Only the later cast manifolds have the GM shields.

    Question: Spark Plug Wires

I put those stock alum. heat shields back on my new MSD 8.50mm wires. They just help keep heat off the plugs as designed. Later, I installed a set of Kool Sox, more for looks than function. I likey!! :thumb
