    Replacing alternator

More than likely the last 3 letters are NEG and not nLg. It's a 12 volt negative ground system and I would think that the "stamping" would indicate that ..... 12V NEG. Andy

School zones around my area in Florida are at 15 MPH! Try maintaining THAT in anything but 1st gear! The police have no sense of humor in those zones. It's gotten so that I've found alternate routes around the 15 MPH school zones so I don't have to worry. I figure that I HAVE to pay...

    H-Pipe Installation

I don't believe that to be true. I believe the counterweights are on the cross-plane crankshaft, making them heavier and prone to a longer time to rev than a flat-plane crankshaft, but I'm not an engineer and don't know much........ Andy :w

    2003 50th Anniversary Corvette - Only 27,851 Miles!

Adjusting Hydraulic Lifters The Correct Way

Yes I did, but only once! Made too darn much of a mess, stunk like crazy, trashed the feeler gauges, and got me so oil spattered that I had to take a shower and change clothes before I could take the Chevelle for a bath. Learned how to do it with the engine off and did it that way from then...
