According to the recall instructions, there should be a "Campaign Identification Label" attached to the radiator core support indicating that the repair was done. There could also be 2..........one for the first recall (that used incorrect/bad parts) and the second for the final (07A) recall...

How many miles on it? Have you ever had the trans flushed? Might be time to do that and replace the filter if it hasn't been done recently. My 2000 was starting to do something like that, and had about 50K on it, so I had it done and it hasn't done it since. Just one more thing to think...
