I tried to order one of the "Rack Attack" systems in Nov. I was told I'd have it by Christmas. At the end of the year I called and they told me maybe late Feb. I bought a manual rack system from Flaming River and love it.:beerArt
I bought the stage 2 from Bowtie Overdrives with their crossmember. It went in with no problems. I had to shorten the driveshaft, but that didn't cost much. It took about 20 min to wire in the lockup harness. The crossmember gave me a lot more room for the exhaust.
Get on Bowtie Overdrive's website and there is a section where you input your trans., rear gear ratio and tire size and it will tell you what gears you need.:beerArt
I bought all new parts from either Zip or Ecklers ( a buttload of money for little parts) and when I tried to peen over the rivets on the new one to hold the emblem in place, they just shattered. After numerous tries with epoxy and super glue I ended up buying a used one that was in great shape...
I'm confused here! The thread started out asking about an oil pressure gauge line and all of a sudden you are saying if this line gives it up he has no brakes? Please explain!?;shrugArt

I had a local shop do the install. They tucked it under there pretty well. Of course I don't have my car sitting like a low rider like some prefer. I have chambereds under the seats and polished stainless tips. The whole system cost me about $1800.00. Not cheap but I'll never have to do it again!
I've got 3" stainless with chambereds from Stainless works. If you like loud, they are great! With my foot in it they sound like straight pipes. A little loud cruising, but I still like it. I have 1500 watts of stereo with 7 speakers so if I want to drown out the exhaust--I can.
There is no way I would have let someone blast my frame with the body still on the car. He would only be blasting a portion of it. I cleaned mine up without removing the body, but it was in great shape to begin with. I feel this guy sees some easy money in you. His prices seem way too...
