Is there an easy puke tank installation for valve covers?

I've got a PCV valve on the pass side and the breather tank on the driver's side. For some reason, I can't attach pics to a thread? If you go to my pics there is one that shows the line fron the valve cover and just a little bit of the breather on top of the tank. Art

Is there an easy puke tank installation for valve covers?

I've got a Moroso breather tank mounted on the fender well in front of the master cyl. and a -12AN hose looped up to a -12 AN 90*x3/4" pipe thread fitting stuck in the grommet in the driver's side valve cover. Works great!

    Trailing arm

Naaaa. I really don't feel the need to know. It probably has less HP than I think anyway and that would be kind of a let down, you know? It has way more power than it has traction, so that's good enough for me. Thanks, Art

    Trailing arm

Oh that. It is a tuned port system made by First Fuel Injection in Michigan. The runners and throttle body are quite a bit larger than stock for added performance, however, the computer system they sell with it is super basic. It is OBD1 from a 90 model Camaro. I had so much trouble out of mine...

    Trailing arm

Thanks for the compliment! Don't have any dyno figures and to tell the truth--I would probably be dissapointed. It has way more power than it has traction so that is plenty good for me. What are you referring to as charger???

    Trailing arm

There is a tool similar to the spindle knocker you can buy from the aftermarket vendors--Zip, Eckler's etc. etc. Screw it on the threaded end and pop it with a BFH.

    Leaning tower of shark

Just use the spring bolts to level the car. (The ones from the spring to the trailing arm.) Tighter raises the car, looser lowers it.:beerArt

    Trailing arm

Get the carbide blades and you should be able to get through each bolt with just one. Worked for me. :beerArt

    swap 3:70 rear for a 3:08/3:36

Absolutely! I have a 3.08 I took out of my '77. It looks to be in great shape. No whine or clunking. Painted black. It has the side yokes also.

    Cruise Control Issue

If it turns out that you need any parts, I have an entire cruise control setup (minus the steering column lever) out of my 77. Transducer is new and diaphram is good. I would part with all or any for a reasonable price.

flat tapet Camshaft/lifter failure becoming a big problem

It developed a miss on the way back home from Hot Springs Corvette Weekend last year. It seemed to come and go. By the time I got home, it was worse. I pulled the valve cover and started the car. The intake rocker arm for # 8 wasn't moving. I pulled the pushrod and it was ok. I then pulled the...

flat tapet Camshaft/lifter failure becoming a big problem

My guess is defective parts. The oiling system is just fine as were the springs and rocker arms.

flat tapet Camshaft/lifter failure becoming a big problem

I used the Comp Cams prelube, Rotella oil and broke the cam in correctly and still lost a lobe after 14000 miles. #8 intake went flat. Replaced with a Crane roller and all associated components and haven't had a problem since.

News: First long Road Trip, but no other C3's:

Just look up Eureka Springs Corvette weekend on the net. It's a lot of fun. They have an autocross, photo tour, fuel mileage tour, car show and departure caravans. Plus, it's just a beautiful town. The whole area for that matter. Hotels are scarce but I think there are still rooms at Pointe West...

News: First long Road Trip, but no other C3's:

I haven't been to funfest, but I have been to Hot Springs and Eureka Springs Arkansas Corvette weekends last year. I'm going to Eureka Springs again in Oct. Lots of cars and fun.

    Car loan

If you have a 401K at your work you can borrow against it and pay yourself back plus the interest goes to you instead of some bank.

    Thermostat

Maybe a dumbazz question but if the thermostat were to stick closed, wouldn't holes aid in the engine not overheating as badly?

    3.73 rear end

Don't know on the difference. I've checked mine with the digital readouts the cops put on the side of the road that read your speed and then say ---Slow Down---. I've used mile markers and also my wife's Infiniti and they all say my speedo is accurate. I wish the limits here were higher. Hell...

    3.73 rear end

If you would have read my reply, you would have seen that I said if I had to accelerate, but not enough to kick it into passing gear. Of course if I wanted, it would kick in and accelerate with no problem. The TV cable is adjusted properly. There are times however, that you just need to ease...
