I know up until a certain point three speeds were the standard tranny. You had to pay extra for a powerglide, or a 4-speed.

Was this problem just on manuals, or automatics too? I just purchased a 99 so I am very curious about this.

All of the sudden everything got BIG! I have to use that little slider thing at the bottom to see the whole window. How do I reduce everything down in size so it all fits? Can you tell I'm not a computer whiz?

Make sure you're getting all plugs firing. It sounds like you may have sonething as simple as a fouled plug. Start by pulling one wire off at a time from your distributor. If there is no change in your rough idle when doing this, check that plug. Go around and do all eight Check your vacuum...

Had a 62 and an 01. Then a 62 and an 02 vert. Then a 62 and a 99. Now just the 99 and I sure miss the 62, even if it did drive like a truck.
