AN UPDATE:
The car arrived in Vegas this morning. I really blew it and forgot to bring my camera to get some pics of it leaving on the transport...sigh...sure miss her already.
Paranoid me cleaned out everything from the car and went to the police station to ask about putting the temporary...
My neighbor down the street bought a 1963 split window new off the showroom floor in blue. I admired the car, but I didn't get bit until the 1968 model came out. I was in love from that point on.
I passed on a chance at a '69, a 78 and an '80 until last fall when my oldest children pitched in...
The DM was suppose to get back to me about the warranty but he never did...oh well, it is Friday. I'm sure i'll hear back on Monday.
I hope this goes well...the only thing I'm concerned about is getting it back. I don't know if they're sending it back or I have to go get it...kinda hard when...

But he says that he tried to get power over and as far as my FSM shows, power doesn't return to the joystick...it leaves the LR switch for the mirror motors...did I miss something here?
I saw an American writeup on this design student...basically saying the same thing.
Personally, I'm not crazy about the rear end...the C7 concept car meets a C6....yucky....;)
Are the mirrors moving at all? I just went through this not too long ago with mine; same symptoms, and I took the LR selector apart....bad move. The 2 springs holding the contact shoes are the first to go...lol
