Corvette Resto-mods - Yes or No

I'm partial to stock or "survivors".....but there are some restos that do catch my eye from time to time, especially if they're done nicely.

I want to drop by at least once while they have it...it's not easy taking a 170 mile drive whenever when they have my car....:L

The look on the guys face was priceless

AN UPDATE: The car arrived in Vegas this morning. I really blew it and forgot to bring my camera to get some pics of it leaving on the transport...sigh...sure miss her already. Paranoid me cleaned out everything from the car and went to the police station to ask about putting the temporary...

What makes you choose the Corvette as your car of choice.

My neighbor down the street bought a 1963 split window new off the showroom floor in blue. I admired the car, but I didn't get bit until the 1968 model came out. I was in love from that point on. I passed on a chance at a '69, a 78 and an '80 until last fall when my oldest children pitched in...

The look on the guys face was priceless

The DM was suppose to get back to me about the warranty but he never did...oh well, it is Friday. I'm sure i'll hear back on Monday. I hope this goes well...the only thing I'm concerned about is getting it back. I don't know if they're sending it back or I have to go get it...kinda hard when...

The look on the guys face was priceless

Never ONCE thought about the warranty :W I'm going to call and have him fax an addendum explaining the warranty on the work. ...All I wanted to see was some progress already. I didn't get to drive it on my birthday last month and we were joking about whether I'd drive it for my next birthday...

The look on the guys face was priceless

I haven't been around for long on CAC and many of you know of my fight with a auto repair company in Vegas over my engine woes. I have not, nor will I divulge the company's name; the idea to smear them crossed my mind, but I just wanted them to own up and make things right. Every day on the...

    1986 power mirrors stopped working

OUCH....damn that smarts....lol But he says that he tried to get power over and as far as my FSM shows, power doesn't return to the joystick...it leaves the LR switch for the mirror motors...did I miss something here?

A C7 write up from France

I saw an American writeup on this design student...basically saying the same thing. Personally, I'm not crazy about the rear end...the C7 concept car meets a C6....yucky....;)

    1986 power mirrors stopped working

Are the mirrors moving at all? I just went through this not too long ago with mine; same symptoms, and I took the LR selector apart....bad move. The 2 springs holding the contact shoes are the first to go...lol So, a $30.00 LR switch and a spare joystick (mine was testing out intermittent) for...

A C7 write up from France

A buddy of mine posted this yesterday...he's a big C6 fan who wants to buy a C7 when they arrive. The French are crazy about vettes there because they are much cheaper than a true sports car made over there: TrendsNow | Chevrolet C7 Corvette renderings by James Robbins Here's the translation...
