I think John is saying that, although it is the correct casting, it was not made for a Corvette. In other words, it's a passenger car or maybe truck block.

And, for only the second time ever, Toyota shut down all production in Japan due to massive sales losses. The first shutdown was for only one day. This time will likely be much longer.

This fully restored '57 is from Legendary Motorcar Company, in Ontario (Dream Car Garage guys).....but you have to call for the price. :eyerole
