I agree. I used to use Armor All on my cars until the dash cracked wide open on one. It was lighter tan color, not a sun absorbing black like I have now. I refrain from using anything on the dash and interior now, other than soap and water. I do condition the leather with Maguires.

Mine is a 99 and had the original battery until 2 weeks ago. 32,000 miles. The only warning was the HUD wouldn't stay at it's brightest level. Everything was fine, we went to dinner, when we came out, it wouldn't start. It was so dead, we couldn't jump start it.

Bill, is the distortion only in the radio or is it also in the CD? (or cassette) I don't know how to answer your question but if it's in the radio and not the CD player, in my opinion the promblem lies in the radio.

Thanks guys for your input. It must have been the battery. It finially died last night. I'm pretty sure it's the original battery from 99. The car only has 32000 miles, not a daily driver. I'll get another battery and hopefully this will take care of the problem.

I didn't realize that it should be automatic. I have been sliding the the display bar to max. I'll check out that possibility. Thanks

I just purchased the Tomtom One. Basic unit, large touch screen, comes complete with US and Canada maps, easy to use, blue tooth capable, still learning all the bell's and whistles, but so far it's been great.
