My blood pressure rises when another corvette owner does return the wave. I do understand that sometimes the ladies think I'm trying to pick them up. We all should wave and be friendly no matter what model we drive. WHY? Because we all are members of the best car fraternity. "CORVETTE"
I replaced my first set of tires at 30,000 miles. I stayed with the Goodyear run flats, not cheap, but they hold the road and I don't worry if theres a flat when my wife is driving alone.
I think it a farce, I saw a article in the December 13, 2004 issue of Autoweek magazine. It told all about the Z06 and about some early release of information on the internet that GM was up tight about.
I really love the looks and features of the C6, but I want to wait until next year when the Z06 is available. Then I'll either go for it or another conv.
I have 38,000 mile on my car. I get about 20-22 MPH overall if I keep my foot off the floor. On the highway I get 29. The key to good mileage is not using all the horsepower everytime you pull out.

My 2 cents worth 100,000 times, I just can't see the cost being worth the benefit. I very much will take a look at the C6 with a eye to buy, but my options will not include the power top.
