First of all a cover is great when the car is stored indoors. But never put a cover on a car while it is being towed or trailered. Even covered in your driveway can create problems for the paint if it is real windy outside.. The constant moving of the cover will wear down the paint especially...

I still have my original wheels on mt 99 C5.. I was thinking of changing them but I still like them. The ones I have are chromed ,, and still look sharp... well to me anyways. and that's what counts. So if you like yours,, keep them. !! Maybe when it's time to replace my tires I might...

Had my oil change last week at my dealer,, they used Mobile 1 , it cost me $102. all taxes included, disposal fees etc.. ( Montreal area )

I picked up a box with a flip lid, it's about 8x10 10" tall. It is covered in black leather looks real classy, black velvet interior. I put some dividers in it and keep it in the trunk right behind the passenger seat. Whenever I need something it's only a reach away..

My 99,, is the same way. That's how they are,, ! :)

I only put the cover on during winter storage. The car is garage kept, but still like it covered,,, keeps the dust off the paint.

I got mine at Walmart,, < $70, no complaints. I first checked eBay but even if they appear less expensive, after shipping ,it comes out to about the same as you would pay in a store. bonus,, if bought in a store u can always return it..

I have a 99 as well,, same noise. I had my belt replaced last week ,, no difference :( I read that it could be the crank pulley. That will be my next try. It makes noise while it's cold, but after driving for awhile it is much quietier..

Get the newer C5,, much better. You had you fun with the older one now it's time for an upgrade :)
