1979 Hood Passenger Side Hood Latch
It's there,it may have a rubber plug in it.you will probably need a long screwdriver to get thru the hole to release the latch.. good luck!- bill81vette

I have heard of several people in my area,who have had issues with there quadrajets adusting these jets and had success doing it. the fact that your has been altered may have something to do with it. its a suggestion thats all.- bill81vette
