    Rear End Gears

Sounds Like.......... A universal joint, check all of them for rust, excessive play etc.

    Muncie issue

Square 1 If everything was fine before the switch, you may be overlooking the obvious. I'd drop the linkage rods, line the plates up with the tool and start there.

    Muncie issue

If......... What you said in your first post is on the money, my money is in the shifter/linkage. What kind of shifter is it, how much wear and tear, age? If the shifter plates are worn, the center bolt or where the rods attach can all make a difference as can one turn of the adjuster. I'm sure...

WTF? WHY DOESN'T THIS CAR WANT TO START?????

Trial & Error.... Happens to the best of us, keep eating the "mood" pills, things will get better, keep the wallet open. Oh yeah, starting fluid, just call Summit or Jegs now and order a crate engine cuz you'll detonate that one, or for that matter, any one. Starter fliud should be outlawed...

    Snow Sucks

Well............... It's 5:30AM Tuesday and guess what? It's still raining:W The generator I had was an "old" faithful that I've had for a good many years. It runs fine and I only used it for the sump pump in the past when we lost power but the problem with it is the pull starter is seized and...

    Snow Sucks

Can't Win NJ is in a State of Emergency. Over 80 roads closed including Rt. 80, MASSIVE flooding, roads washed away, sewers exploding from internal pressure, whatever that is. Entire towns under water, people being rescued by jet ski, hook and ladder, bucket loaders. I've been watching the...

    C5 Winter Blues Continue

Line Lock.............. See, if you had line lock, you could light em' up in Guys garage and not get it wet:upthumbs I can't complain, the 62 is still waiting for the headers to come back from Jet Hot. I did get the remote oil filter done and the leaf springs should be done by the end of next...

    Engine Coolant Tank

Corvette Action Center Loses a Valued Member

Thank You Brad When I read something in print, like here, I have a lot to say in my mind, as feeble and unimportant as it may be and I'm sure IS to a lot of people "smarter" than I. When I see a picture, especially one with REAL meaning for me, I sometimes have nothing to say but a thousand...

Ya Know........ I knew when we first met, there was a "White Knight" sort of thing going on with you, a true American (Canadian) hero image. Chivalry is NOT dead, but if you're passing that up to rent a ditch witch with wheels and not t!t's, you're fried.:boogie

Funny.............. I don't see a drink holder on that piece of heavy equipment. Careful what you burn in that chiminey, Pine is noted for leaving a heavey residue capable of causing internal fires you can't put out, kinda like the ones us older guys get when we...................ah, nevermind...

Couple Things............... I hope the dead soldiers in that photo were a result of a break and not the felling of the tree. Second, what is that lawn mower doing hauling brush? We use pan dumps, burry it or burn it, depending on whether or not there's any benfit to inhaling the "smoke"

Right, Wrong Or........ Indifferent, that's how I've always done things. Spending the time to get to know the right people that will help you, not rape you. I just dug a footing for a new garage last weekend, total cost to my friend, "maybe" $500, food and beer. The Cat excavator alone should...

OK General............... Being your own GC has it's rewards $$$$$ and headaches. What the hell is a Sikorsky? That sign would be down in 30 seconds and replaced with a baracade or a couple cones nightly until completion, then replaced. How far from the tree line after you make the left to the...

WHEW!!! I'm glad Bossvette hopped in with the genius aspect of it, cause I'm sure not:rotfl You have a number of choices, chainsaw, rope, pruning with the chemicals to preserve the branches after you clip them. "Most" construction supply places have the detachable fork lift trucks now that...

Not Really............ Don't be scared of a little poop, hell it's yours to begin with. Seriously, do I have to come up there? They dug the yard up to put that septic in and your going to dig it up to tie the Heaven Palace in or, let me ask you this, do you how cold it is in a Porta John?

Depends......... The water runs through your property and exits to your neighbor, what does he think about this? Is he also content to let it run through his property and to the next? Water runs down hill obviously, in the picture Bossvette has of the inlet side of the pipes, the water enters...
