I am so sorry to hear this sad news. You are so right saying that people should not let things unsaid. It is terrible to lose a child. My sister's son was killed in a car accident at age 30. My sister never, ever got over it. My deepest condolences to you and your wife. Elaine

I do not think that any of the Corvettes should be restored. Rather, they should be kept on display just the way they are. This event is a major chapter in the history of the Museum, and I think would make a much stronger display as is rather than spending many hundreds of thousands of dollars...

I've had Corvettes for 25 years, and, yes, I still get a rush when I get into the driver's seat, each and every time!!! Like you said, when that stops, the Corvette will be gone! ;) Elaine

You've made some very good points and ones that I practice in my sale of Corvettes here at Corvette Mike's. While we encourage potential buyers to take the Corvette out for a ride, that is done ONLY when we have pretty much established that these are authentic buyers. Good advice! Elaine

I am presuming that you are talking about the 2013 427 convertibles?? If so, then I think they will certainly hold their value as there never was a 427 505 HP convertible before and unlikely there will be again. Pricing on Corvettes are all about options and miles. The more options, the lower...

Ralph, I missed your original post or I would have responded earlier. I think the car you bought and the price you paid is just fine. Many people shy away from the '05 as it was the first year of the C6 generation. I've owned two 2005 convertibles, both stick, and never had an issue at all...

Let me add another welcome! Nice to have you with us and glad you like it here already. Would love to see your '07. My husband and I had a 2002 Electron Blue convertible with Torch Red interior and a white top...one of only 6 made in that color combo that year. Thought we'd never let it...

The incentives and discounts for the 2013's were too good to pass up. I seriously doubt there will be anything like that this year and maybe next, too. Elaine
