Well, I took a quick look at my manuals, and only found info about replacing the entire rearview mirror assembly. There might be some other info in there about adjusting it, but I could not find it last night. I will take a little more thorough look when I get a chance and let you know if I find...

I'll look in my service manual tonight for any info about adjusting the stiffness of the mirror's pivot joint. I need to look something else up for another thread also, so I'll see if I can figure both things out tonight.

Didn't ever find out if this was due to any problem with the Electronic Throttle or not, but one forum member was having trouble getting a good jump off the line a little while back. She couldn't even smoke the tires with Traction Control turned off. I don't remember if the issue was ever solved...

Welcome to the CAC! I doubt that your F45 shocks would be worn out @ 18,500 miles. Mine have 62,000 miles on them (I think-- I'm not the original owner, so I don't know for sure), and still do okay. However, you very well might have something wrong with them. I wonder if the right rear shock...
