I see your point. Basica the amount of C4's available will have to dramatically decline. Didnt GM make about 25K per year for the C4 lineup? Thats about 250K models out there.
For now I am focusing on replacing the transmission and the car is off the market. A part of me is happy that the car...
Does your C4 have the LT4 motor?
Only C4's I see holding some kind of decent value are the Callaway's, Grand Sport, LT4 C/E, and the ZR1's from '90 to '95.
I agree 100% but for the offers I was getting was insulting. My car has over $10K in upgrades and no way in hell im going to sell it to some low baller for $2K.
A new trans is going in, going to put it on the dyno, run it in the 1/4 mile and I am sure it will sell.
I am not bad mouthing ebay. Too many tire kickers on there for me. I never said it was ebays fault. I just do not like wasting money.
My car has been on a few corvette forum boards for sale for some time, including here on the CAC...
Long story short, I have a busted 700R4 and put my heavily modified C4 up for sale on ebay twice with bidding starting at $4999.99 and got no bids. Ended up wasting about $95.00 on f'n ebay.
Worst part is I got about dozen emails from people offering me totally rediculous prices for my car...
if you want to spend as little as possible, then replace the vortech lower base with a standard tpi aftermarket base (look on the parts for sale in various car forums) and ebay. I would put the headers on along with a matching front y-pipe and cat back. Should set you back ~$1K to $1500.
My headlights will not rotate if the hood is down. If I lift the hood up, I can turn on the lights and they will rotate. The passenger side rotates slower than the driver side.
Any ideas?
Depends on how much you want to spend. Cut the filter lid and install the K&N, I would ditch the vortec manifold and keep the super ram on the stock heads with a 58mm throttle body and a set of headers with a full cat back.
What is your budget?
if i recall correctly there is/are a couple or one plug on the inside top of the plenum that must be plugged. Also check for vacume leaks and make sure the throttle cable is on correctly.
yes, I saw the ebay feedback. Looks great. But something kind of bothers me about ordering a trans from outta state. Most likely i'll purchase the trans.
do you have any spark? you can hook up a timing light to the #1 spark plug and see if the lights comes on when you crank the car. No fuel pressure and no fuel pump prime sound? I would check the oil pressure switch on the driver side and make sure everything is connected correctly. Also check...
