Important! CALLAWAY FORUM USERS, VISITORS, GUESTS, and LURKERS, please read...

I lurked for quite a while before posting in this section (although I had posted elsewhere on CAC before). I lurked to learn, but didn't really post until I had some questions to ask, which was when I got serious about looking for a Callaway. A big part of my lurking vs. posting was not knowing...

Question: Where could you envision a Callaway????

Anybody remember the show 'Vegas' back in the late '70s where the star of the show was a detective driving a 56/57 (I think) Thunderbird? Instead of a garage, his garage door opened into the house and he just drove the car inside, so it was parked just off his living room. I always loved that...

Callaway pictures w/in> feel free to add some to the thread

Kind of makes you wonder what's in the garage on the left, doesn't it? :D

Looks like it will be Friday A.M. for me. too much work to do on Thursday. :ugh

    CALLAWAY RANGE ROVER

I would try Callaway's online store at www.callawaycars.com. I took a quick look and didn't see any, but they may be buried somewhere in the list. Second option would be a call or email to Callaway to see if they offer it. Enjoy the RR!

Anyone know the values of these, or know of any for sale?

Those are some pretty rare cars you're looking for (especially the '95 LM, as John pointed out). Your best bets are this thread and the Callaway Marketplace on the COG site. Any we hear about or see are posted in one or both of those two places. And don't get discouraged just because what...

    Are these Dymags?

Before I got the Speedster, I was looking at another car that was without the original wheels. I asked Joanne about getting these wheels for it and she told me they weren't available any longer. I didn't do any checking outside Callaway for them.

Question: Should we do a COG brick at NCM?

Definitely want to hear more. Callaway's were such a unique piece of Corvette history, I think our contribution should make a statement. A loud statement. :D

News: Reeves Callaway, to be inducted into the NCM Hall of Fame

Fantastic news! Long overdue in my opinion!

    Vettes Under Cover

I'll definitely be in touch next time I need a cover. Unfortunately, right now I have more covers than cars.:ugh

    197mph UltraSlow - in a Corvette!

The 202 isn't exactly a "city street", but it can't support 219 MPH either. In fact, that is probably the last freeway I would try it on, should I be so inclined. There are plenty of wide open, long, straight, desert roads/freeways with no entrance/exit ramps that would be a far better choice...

Open House Event - please help plan...

Yeah, I know. Nothing a transport truck can't correct, though.

Open House Event - please help plan...

I'll be there - as long as Luigi takes delivery from Callaway Cars West. :D Come on, Luigi - it would be a great break-in drive on the way home...

    Vettes Under Cover

I'm not famliar with these covers, but you can have both. I only buy the cloth covers with a flannel lining. I've always heard that the otehr covers are safe for paint, but I just prefer the softer lining, so I've never tried anything else. The only exception is the silver 'Callaway' cover I got...

{Sat. 11-24} California Coffee Run, anyone??

Well, I couldn't make it to LA, but I did finally make the Cars & Coffee gathering that the Scottsdale Exotic Car Club puts on once a month here locally. I don't know if it was the cold (only 60 this morning) or the holiday, or a general lack of interest, but it was a complete bust. ;shrug...

    Caught - A C16 Hauler!

Hmmm, I've got the 6 liter in my Avalanche. Are you going to market that? A supercharger might be a nice addition to my Callaway hauler...:upthumbs

Callaway SC & C16 in the news...

Those are some great shots. I really wish there were some nice shots of the three of them together. As I look at the C4, C12, and C16 Speedsters individually, I can really see some of the styling cues evolve from generation to generation. Maybe some evolution photos are something to plan for...

Callaway SC & C16 in the news...

Are there any photos of all three together? I don't recall seeing the C12 Speedster in any of the Pebble Beach shots I've seen. You're welcome. It was a fun show. I hope to be able to make one or two next year.

Most essential piece in your garage?

The most essential thing in my garage is what isn't there - other people. Don't get me wrong, I love my family, and I'm even pretty fond of all the friends my kids seem to have over constantly - but my garage is my refuge. That's where I go to have some peace and quiet and play time. :beer
