However, only Callaway's through 1991 - the end of the B2K run - are elligible, correct? I had not heard that the NCRS was recognizing any Callaway's other than the B2K.
I didn't even notice that. Seems like a bad weekend to schedule a big show like that. Plus, the Phoenician and every hotel for miles around is likely to be booked solid for that whole week. ;shrug

On the site, this sounds like a great show being held here at the Phoenician Resort in January. I though this would be a good show to take the Speedster to it, so I started registering on the site. I thought it was weird that, after submitting the registration, the...
They may be worth something to the NCRS crowd. If tires (or any parts) can be identified as reproduction, they will lose originality points, and worn out originals will lose condition points, so many of the 'serious' NCRS guys will buy a set of good looking, used original tires just for the...
I sat on top of a 15' ladder and hand-held the camera, but it really doesn't matter much. The software I use (Microsoft Digital Image Pro) will compensate for minor changes in the angle or even stitch multiple rows of photos to make the pano vertically larger, so it doesn't have to be an exact...
Line 'em up, shoot a series of overlapping digital photos of them, then email me the photos and I'll stitch them together into a panorama...:)
Works great. That's how I made the below photo of our local NCRS chapter (BTW, that's my old '69 in the front right).
Getting pretty used to driving Speedsters, eh Chris? :D
I've seen a couple photos of the Miller's Speedster at the show. Did any of the others make it? Sure wish I could have been there.
I just noticed that Sue's Speedster doesn't have the teardrop plugs for the original emblem. What do they do for those? Cut around them or remove them, lay the film, then replace them over the top?
Absolutely stunning car and outstanding photos! I can't wait to see more.
I wish I could have been out there for the debut. One of these days I would love to make it to the Pebble Beach Concours.
I sent them a mail, and I'll call on Monday if I don't hear back from them. I didn't see anything on the site about purchase, so it might not be something they do, but I'll let you know what I find out.
This is cool! I was told by this Speedster's owner that Ron Kimball had shot photos of it for a calendar, but I have not been able to find his website to get copies. Thanks for the post!
Since I lucked out and found my Speedster already, I picked a B2K car. I'd still like to get a nice low mileage driver with an Aerobody at some point. 100+ would be nice, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I doubt I could score that lucky twice in a row.
This was alot of fun. Unfortunately, at the time the only action I got to see was in my rearview mirror since I was driving the truck, so it's great to see the videos.
Thanks for putting these together Chris & Luigi and, so he's not forgotten, it was acutally Shopview who asked Reeves and...
