The primary should come on also when A/C headpressure is up - which is just about any time the A/C is on. The fan out front will come on at 228F. Or not at all...

The hood insulation for the Canada C4's is for reduced exterior noise, per Sae J986. It will also give a VERY slight reduction in interior noise. You'll need good ears to pick this up, though. Regards, R
