What kind of wheel/tire is that? I'm guessing it doesn't have any issues fitting over the brakes and such.
More info please. That would be nice for a little extra insurance on trips.
Yes, I've never had this issue but I've read about lots of people that have experienced the cracked rims. It doesn't seem to matter if you have the 97-99 style or the thin spokes.
There are 4 small lights that illuminate that panel. My guess is they just need to be reseated into the circuit board or the plug that powers that panel is loose. Its not hard to fix but you have to pull the instrument cluster(IC) to do it. If you've ever thought about doing LEDs in the interior...
I took the plunge into those high pricey wheels and ya the bite at the bank hurt some but IMHO they look fantastic. If for some reason down the road I don't want them I can sell-um' for not much less than what I paid for them.
No it doesn't but you can add one if you know how to use a soldering iron.
This is from a T/A Camaro site but the radios are the same.
How you can add an aux input/mp3 player without an adapter - LS1TECH
Yes I have done this to mine and it works great!
I'm not a Leo but yes, there was a thread on here about a year ago about how hard the C5 is to get a laser speed reading on. The C5 doesnt have any real flat or reflective spot on the front end for the laser to bounce off of as long as you dont have a front plate.
As a side note: Its also been...
I tend to agree. GM and the BG plant know how picky corvette owners are about our cars. When we toured the plant back in 06' that was one thing they brought to our attention.
I only use it when I go to a car show which isn't that often so I havent noticed any graying yet.
I did some research over the weekend and found that if you lower the car so you cant see in the wheel wells you can't see the dirt. :L
Yup. I actually put it in an empty simple green spray bottle because the Armor All I had was one of those bulk refill bottles. After washing the car I just spray it in the fender wells and forget it.
The stock wheels are covered in a clear coat so you want to treat them just like the body of the car. Wash, clean and polish them the same. I would say try the paste or do what you can to get them cleaned up. Once that is done polish and wax them like you do the car. After you get them...
First thing I would check are the grounds under the hood. There are two one on each side right behind each headlight. Pull them apart and make sure the connections are not corroded.
You will gain very little if any performance from changing the cat back exhaust. Cat backs are all about the sound. Going from a stock C5 to a Z06 Ti exhaust will not be much of a change in sound although you will shed some weight.
