    tires for 1967

I have 215/75x15's (Michelin Hydro Edge) on my '66. They're not too different in size compared to the 205/75x15. I have no problems with rubbing from turning or road bumps. And they're mounted on stock size rims.

    Tires on 6.5 Rims

I have 215/75x15 Michelin HydroEdge radials on my '66. They are close to being the same diameter/circumference as the OE size so speedometer isn't off by that much. I also replaced the knock-off wheels (I stored them) with American Racing Torque Thrust D's (15"x6" OE size) The ride is...

    Vette poll

I have two "basic" names for my Corvettes. Whichever one I drive I tell my wife.."I'm taking the black one" or "I'm taking the white one".

    Differential problem

I took my '66 in for a 4 wheel alignment and when the mechanic put the Hunter clip on mechanism on the rear wheel we noticed that the wheel had play in it. Pushing/pulling on top and bottom caused the half shaft to pull out of the differential a little. About 1/2" on the right rear and 3/4"-1"...

Have C5 prices bottomed out yet?

I believe it was a little over a year ago when '03 Z06's with low/moderate mileage were selling for $36k-$38k. Today, you can get one for $28k-$30k. I think that depreciation is huge.

The questions we all get asked......

Since I've only had the '66 since May of this year, the funniest thing I've heard is " '66 Vette's are my favorite, is yours a '67?" Someone asked me while I was gassing the Z06 "What have you had it up to?" I tell them "The summit going to Lake Tahoe, a little over 5,000 feet".

"CARFAX® receives data from more than 20,000 different sources including every U.S. and Canadian provincial motor vehicle agency plus many police and fire departments, collision repair facilities, auto auctions, and more." This is the first sentence on the Carfax website so I'll say if your...

    Help! 65 headlight support rods

I happened to have my service manual for a '66 next to me. I'm assuming that the front headlamp assembly can't be that much different between the two. Hope this is what you're looking for.

Question: Getting more light power from the tail lights

I believe PIAA and Sylvania make high intensity bulbs but can't direct you to any particular website. You may want to check your local auto parts store. Good luck.
