The damaged pushrod weighs 2 5/8oz, the one I want to replace it with weighs 2.5oz. Same diameter 0.065 wall.

I'd have to check. I know they were the same composite and wall thickness. Yeah, I'll have to order the rocker arm/nut.

Thanks guys. I don't have a matching pushrod but do have another set minus one of a different brand. I bent one doing a valve-piston clearance during the rebuild. Do you think it matters if I miss-match?

Do you think this could have caused my blowing oil smoke?

:cry Cylinder #1 intake valve. The nut must have backed off, I could move it with my fingers. Could this be part of my smoking problem? Can I simply replace the pushrod without removing the intake?

Here' the intake gasket I used, Victor Reinz 95007SG. You can only see the gasket in the center of the manifold.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I did check the ring gap in the hole and I think they were ~0.022, I could be wrong because that was 2 years ago. I'll work on the compression & leak down tests. Probably gonna be 2 weeks or more till I get time to work on her.

Engine is all new. I finished the bottom up rebuild last fall. Has about 1,000 miles so far. I followed the usual easy break-in. Heads are GMPP Signature Series, TRW pistons, chrome moly rings etc....nothing but good parts.
