Congrats on a great C4! Looks like you have a helper that is the perfect height for helping to clean those low areas on your Z07. Buddy of mine had ’95 Z07, I got drive it a couple of times, I was surprised at how nice the steering is on the Z07, much better than my FE1 optioned car. B17Crew :w

’93 valve covers were a composite plastic, it was the first year for it. The shift in materials was done to help lessen valve train noise. B17Crew :w

With such a simplistic engine, if taken care of, I’d lean towards the 300K mark on the LT4 as well. Every one of my GM cars has gone above and beyond what’s expected. I do take care of them though. ;) B17Crew :w

My ’96 was a daily driver for the first six years. After that, I bought a DD because my company located to downtown Columbus. I now park my DD in a pay lot. Before that, I had my own secured parking space... ah the good ’ol days. No way in world would I park my LT4 in this downtown pay lot...

The way things are going, I could probably work out my days hecticity (I made that word up) out on your magnificent C5 and you would have not only a detailed engine bay, but a detailed undercarriage, suspension and wheels, interior, engine bay, and complete chassis detailing. :L B17Crew :w

Thank you for the kind words everybody! I’ve discovered that detailing the engine bay can be a relaxing experience. Sometimes after a hectic day, it pays to visit the garage and just tidy up the engine bay a little bit more. Wait, now that I look at that photo, looks like I’ve been having...
