My Z needs help! Electrical problem!!!

My first guess would be that you need a new battery. Otherwise, you should check the operation of the alternator. Being not too bright myself, I'd take the car to a decent dealer & let them check for codes that have been set.

    Just bought a Red 2004

I'm pretty late on this thread, but welcome!!! You obviously have great taste in both vehicles & colors. I use Guy's cupholder & it's great - does not get in the way of anything & works very well. The stock cupholder works fairly well for holding an iPod or small change :-) .

The Waiting, The Sweating: Air Conditioning Poll

Hit unlock 3 times on the way across the lot. Windows drop, music on. Window Valet!! Jump in, key on, belt on, crank, AC in Auto @ 68. 50 feet later, cool air headed for cold. Even at 110 OAT. Waiting does what, exactly??? Other than something similar to windows up/heat up 'till you puke.

    Tempermental power seat

Owed by a Mod??!?? Sounds bad. :ugh I'll be in Denver between the 3rd & the 9th of May for business & to visit my two sons ... maybe we can work this problem out amicably over food &/or liquid refreshment? ;)

    Tempermental power seat

Thanks Patrick! One has to have it somewhere in mind to keep it in mind. Didn't know weight saving extended to bits! Maybe some kind Z06 owner could test the unlock vs. key insert functionality & let us know?? Know anyone with a Z06?? :-}} Even a black one?

    Tempermental power seat

My experience has been that the seat return works only if you have unlocked your Vette just before inserting the key. In other words if you stop your Vette and take the key out, the seat will go back. If you put the key right back in, the seat will not go to your preset. BUT! If you take...

    How Fast

Hey Pseudo - You're proving Edmond's age-display point! ;LOL I said "regular interstate travel on a two-lane". Not two-lane Interstate. And now that this poor guy is not! getting the answer he asked for, I'm shuttin' up.

    Cargo

    Holy Cr@p BossV! Did you ever consider the effect on the locals if you'd had a big ol' wreck on the way home!!! :-}}}

    How Fast

Seems like the car rags used 40-60 times as an approximation of how quickly the subject car could pull off a pass on a two-lane highway - - anyone remember regular interstate travel on a two-lane?? :L Since that time in any car I could afford was about 35 seconds, my technique was to lay back...

Battery Discharge, not left in reverse at shutdown

    It's a C6 issue. Not C5. I can't tell you where you think you saw the C5 reference ;-}}.

Magnetic Red vs Magnetic Red ll

If I remember correctly, the Mag Red II has more flake in it.

    Help possible leak

sorbet02 - Of the things you mentioned, the red fluid would bother me the most. Again, if you have an automatic, that is probably transmission fluid & you DO NOT want that to run low.
