Being a newbie Vette owner, I had this mod installed since it looked relatively simple and might give me a little better sound than the stock system. It did exactly what they claim, and, seems to me, removed what I thought were unpleasant harmonics when cruising in the 70mph range.

A little WD40 on the grommets helped me. Hope the @#$% plastic clamps don't break for you like one of mine did when you replace the lid.

I just got my first 'Vette this January (hey, it's Texas!). I didn't know if I just thought I wanted one or if I'd really enjoy it. Now I know the answer. Permanent grin & I'm happy to wave to anybody!! Life is indeed too short to waste.
