what is all involved in this. I realize the center moulding is different, third brake light is in the bumper and not the hatch. But is it a hassle to make the moulding work on a 1990.
can the bumpers be fitted without any mod's to whats underneath them? any wiring changes to accomodate the...
SLP's can be hogged out the easiest. But remember by doing this you will probably lose lowend torque.
Just buy a edelbrock base and slp runners, there is not much porting you can do to the plenum, about the only thing you can do to it is port match it.
Hmmmmmm 26'ish mpg .... cold air that does freeze you out .... passing smog with ease ...... the handling ..... lots a cool buttons .... true targa top ..... better theft protection .... better parts availability ..... god the ease of working on with the clamshell ...... headlights that don't...
Well like I said, If the car is to much work my best friend will buy it off me for spare parts or to turn into a weekend racing car. So at least I won't lose any money on the car whatsoever.
I would like to do the 91-96 bumper update on the car though. But fear not the car won't be subjected...
Here are a few pictures of the car. as you can see aside from the seat cushions being bad overall the interior is nice. needs a front bumper aside from that body seems nice. The motor I will just probably buy a new GM long block and have 1 day paint give it a quik paint job. For rims my best...
I am buying a 1990 vette with these wheels and dont care for them to much. They look real nice in the pictures Ive gotten. So I was wondering if there would be anyone interested in them.
they are I believe like 97-98 wagon wheel style. I am not sure if they are GM wheels or repro's that were...
well, I bought the 90 vette a few minutes ago. So I've made my decision I am going to start stripping my 82 vette down and part it out. You know back 12 years ago when I bought this 82 vette it was for my ex-wife but I originally had intended on buying my best friends 90 vette for her. I...
well my best friend is having a stroker engine built for his 1990 as well and I can buy his excellent running stock L98 for 500.00 so I don't think I can go wrong on this 90 project. Transport wise my friend will get the car for me for free, parking wise for this project isn't a problem ...
One plus side for me is this I could always use the long block from my c3 in this 90 as well as the 700r4 since its a 1990 transmission anyways. So really it wouldn't cost me hardly anything to get this 90 vette running. My best friend has a new set of tires and chrome wheels from his 90 since...
Yeah it's the (10 years) and nothing being done to it that broke my will because it's been like this for 10 years and aside from the hood I haven't done a thing to the car.
I could actually keep my c3 if I too had the storage for it but theres to many reasons just to part it .... the major one the great power difference between it and the 1990 ... also the ability ti get more power out of the L-98 then I ever could with the CFI.
Aside from the L-69 having a knock sensor and maybe a baro sensor I wonder how the ecm and chip from one could be adapted to a L81 harness. I know it's spark tables were pretty agressive. Carbs were used till about 1987 and I believe this L-69 lasted till then so maybe you could get the newer...
