Good to hear you have no cooling issues, because I bought the same Be Cool radiator for my 59 (with a 383 stroker). I'm planning on using a stock shroud (modified to fit the radiator) and belt-driven fan, instead of an electric fan. I was just concerned because I'll be running it in the Texas...
Cornering was probably not high on the priority list when that car was built. But the role cage and its tie-in to the front might help with chassis stiffness. I guess we are used to seeing more of a cross-member between the front wheels. Cool looking car, though.
I'm guessing you could cut out the bracket at the bottom of the 61-62 core support, and fit in the bigger (19") 56-59 size radiator than the 17" 61-62 size radiator.
