    88 #57 Recipe for power

Shouldn't be a problem. It may take awhile to put something together though. I'm off vacation now and man 'o man this is going to be a busy year! FS

I agree with 8388. Pulling the dissy to check is the best way to make sure and it's cheaper then having pop on you then get towed home :( There are a couple of reasons that this happens. Here's a few pics... If you need more PM me with your email address and I can send more.

Final result Here are my uncorrected numbers. Using SAE numbers helps even the playing Fields for those cars that are in high altitude locations or where there's high humidity climates. For those climates using SAE numbers should help them and uncorrected numbers should hurt them. Here in Texas...

Timing change This dyno pull shows the gain from just a modest change in the base timing. I still have a couple more things to do one being a custom tune to clean up the fuel at both low and high RPM range and clean up the timing in the chip. The best part is this car is completely emission...

    88 #57 Recipe for power

Final run Run 65 was my final run after playing with more boost and timing. With runs 47 thru 65 I was able to turn up the boost and play with base timing. My combo for all runs start to finish are with stock tune with cats and mufflers. The very first run was with the car completely stock...

Correcting AF with new AIC unit After just two pulls I was able to correct the AF ratio and feel good about the safety of the engine.

    88 #57 Recipe for power

New AIC installed After countless hours of messing with the MF'r I gave up and installed a new AIC controller. As stated in my first post, I have a lot of dyno pulls testing three separate MF'r with the same results. I had Callaway Cars rebuild my MF'r and still no change. A/F was all over the...

    88 #57 Recipe for power

Here is my first dyno run with this car. Car is completely stock however, completely untuned and neglected by previous owner. My purpose of these posts is to help current and future CTTC owners who are looking at what are the next steps for their car. I have over 60 dyno pulls on my car to...

    Question: How much boost?

Can we get a sticky or something equivalent on COG that has dyno results and the recipe used to achieve those numbers? Seems that every new owner that comes to this forum has the same questions about what to do next to their car in terms of performance but the responses are few and not based on...

    Question: How much boost?

In that case your 430+ / 570+ numbers are pretty low compared to what you actually had! That's truly impressive. You must really miss #48.

    Question: How much boost?

Calcliff, thanks for sharing your story. I bet Mr. Callaway was more implying just what 89onlyZ51 was getting at earlier in his post and that is you simply cannot turn up the boost and ignore the fuel side. I say this because I'm sure Callaway Cars in 1991, as you mentioned, wasn't too keen on...

    Question: How much boost?

Car performed well. No boost creep, no detenation/knock retard. Just short of 60Hg ;shrug I have 66 dyno pulls on this car and it's truely performing at it's best.

    Question: How much boost?

On a MILD tune :D J/K Actually I'm not looking for a specific number, I'm more curious about how the car will behave with a little more boost. Remember I still have cats and mufflers. You've been beating it in me for a year now :bash to make those numbers the cats must go... Let's see if I...

    Question: How much boost?

from the initial responses, it looks like 12psi is the norm. Hope more folks respond. Calawyclif, that's an interesting statement that Reeves made to you. Would liked to have a better understanding of what he meant by that. Do you have the big wonderbar in your '89? 89onlyZ51, I dumped the...

    Question: How much boost?

How much boost are my fellow Callaway Twin Turbo owners running? Just gauging to see if most owners are satisfied with the stock setting of 10psi for the stock wonderbar or 12psi for the bigger wonderbar. I currently have mine tuned to about 12.5psi. Has anyone ventured beyond 12.5? Has...

    Found an interview with Reeves

Not sure of the intent of this post... However, good research should also post the rebuttal from John L. http://www.cpts-test.com/lngnfltr/ Only those who were involved with the project will know the truth. You have two of the most respected men in the industry saying the exact opposite...
