I just removed the coolant line that goes into the center section of the turbo to get the extra clearance to use a 1/4 ratchet set on the intercooler tubing.
You could probably go around it using a wobbler, but it really was no issue removing the coolant line and it gives you straight on...
Ok I'm packing some sandwiches now and loading up one of the Callaways and I'm headed to Indy! What time should I arrive??
Cool deal, I would love to watch that video... Maybe a netmeeting can take place and we can all watch it : )
BTW I can convert that VHS to DVD if you need me too.
I have a bunch of pictures of both stock wonderbar and the BIG wonderbar together when I did my BIG wonderbar upgrade.
Send me a PM with your email address and I'll send them to you. I believe you can convert your '87 setup to an '88 setup by using the '88 wonderbar.
The wonderbar itself...
While heading out to work this morning I saw the C16 Coupe that was delivered to Dallas this morning.
Nice to see in on the road being enjoyed. (Maybe his daily driver!?) His Porsche was the sold to buy this car.
I was not able to get a picture of the dash plaque. The number 5 came from Mike Vendetto from Callaway Cars who was there to personally hand deliver the car to the new owner. Could have been a mistake.
I think the owner of that car will stay low key. I wouldn't expect him to be showing that car any time soon. My personal guess is that C16 will be for sale in 12-18months. That car is #5 and with the color option and CALLAWAY logo down low, it won't be hard to identify when it does come up for sale.
Mine started out as a SNAT400 in '92 then went back to Callaway in '96 to get the 435 package which put down 456hp. My exhaust is all Callaway Stock. From the handmade headers to the DD speedster exhaust tips.
You bet. Plus other options like Callaway handmade headers and speedster exhaust. I think the exhaust on my SuperNatural is THE main part of my driving pleasure. I simply love the speedster exhaust with twin mufflers.

My vote is for the C4 SuperNatural
My vote is for the C4 SuperNatural. Having both B2K and Supernatural I made my decision based on driving pleasure. I love the 450hp all natural power of my SNAT. The power band comes in very quick and down low which makes for perfect cruising. The SuperNatural...
With only 500 examples out there
What a great way to showcase the Callaway heritage, especially for the B2K model. With only 500 examples out there, this type of exposure really helps keep the B2K option fresh in the memory of many folks who might otherwise have forgotten that GM backed this...
I think Marks Opti on his SNAT Twin Turbo just got scarred of the POWA that was about to be inflicted on it and checked out early.;LOL
Welcome to the forum Mean Green '92. I personally like to stick with OEM parts. I would take this time to upgrade to the updated '94-'96 vented unit. This...
Shoot Shopview a PM or email. He knows Ron and maybe able to help out. When we were there in 2004 Ron was just giving away a bunch of calanders. I don't recall this particular Speedster but, I do believe all the pictures of the Old Lyme Green Speedsters were take by Ron K.
YES SIR!
Could be. This guy know the difference between the ZR1 SuperNatural and Twin Turbo and he made a point to say it was a Twin Turbo. He did the paint and body on the Black Twin Turbo twice for some reason. I think he hit a dog or something the first time.

Just off the top of my head I know of:
12 Callaway Twin Turbos
5 SuperNaturals
2 C12
1 C16
1 C8
And just the other day I meet the owner of Corvette restoration shop here and he knows of 3 other Callaway Twin Turbo Owners that he's worked on. He described one car that I recall seeing a...
Ken,
I'm in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. There are others here too, I'll let them chime in. I get out to Phoenix every couple of months. Next time I'm out there on business, I'll give you heads up.
