The Last of the Hand-Built 1953 Corvettes Heads to Barrett-Jackson Auction

Hope to see it when I go to BJ on Sunday. It's easy to miss a car or two with the the hundreds that are in the tents. The weather is supposed to be perfect for all the auctions next week, there are five. No rain or mud as in some past years. If you haven't been to Scottsdale at the end of...

    2017 going to debut soon?

I'm guessing the 2017 will be a non-event. Maybe they'll treat us with more decal based "special editions."

GM Press Release: CORVETTE RACING AT DAYTONA: Dress Rehearsal for Rolex 24

I felt bad for the Corvette team last year at VIR. IMSA messed with the performance specs AND reduced fueling capabilities during the race week. The Vette guys knew they had no chance of a podium finish, let alone winning. It wasn't a happy place. What a crock.

    Not a Track Guy

My Stingray is the first base suspension Vette I've had in a looooooong time. I have come to the conclusion that I'm a cruiser now, and should not pay extra for a stiffer ride that makes trips a little less comfortable. If I had it to do over again, I'd do it again. If you like the looks of a...

GM Press Release: CORVETTE RACING AT DAYTONA: Dress Rehearsal for Rolex 24

I'm done. IMSA will never get another dollar out of my wallet unless they stop manipulating the individual team specs during the season to ensure they get results that suits their agenda. I cancelled by plans for Daytona, and won't be at VIR either. There are too many real races around to...

    H,i and GoodMmorning

Welcome. You will love your GS. I replaced the Goodyears with Bridgestone Potenza run flats. They are a much better all-around tire: quieter, better in the wet, etc. They are also more budget friendly than Michelins. When it's time, check them out.

Question: Tires, and types of Tires

I had Bridgestone Potenza runflats on both my 2007 Z and 2012 GS. They were a great all-around tire with a good ride, less noise, and far better wet weather performance than the OEMs. If I had a C6, I'd buy them again.

Warning! Buyers BEWARE! ZR1 being sold online with questionable history.

I'm guessing it's a lemon law GM buyback or factory loaner for press, etc. It's clever to mod the engine to explain the why the warranty will not be valid. I'd never buy a Z with a blocked factory warranty.....what could possible go wrong???? Your warning should be heeded.

News: Paint Shop Construction Begins at Corvette Assembly Plant

Better late than never, but this is thirty years overdue. It IS encouraging to see a really comprehensive approach to the paint problems that have plagued the Vette since......forever. I'm wondering if the efforts at paint improvement have anything to do with an upcoming, upscale vehicles...
